Numbers are how the modern world argues. Learn With Numbers (LWN) is a series of courses that teach students to hold their own in that argument: to understand where numbers come from, question how they're made, and create honest analyses of their own.
Every project pairs academic rigor with real-world data: video games, sports, surveys, news... Along the way, the students build two skills that can outlast any tool: critical thinking and analytical storytelling.
The lessons are rigorous enough to be worth your time, and friendly enough to start at any level.
There are two ways to learn with us. Every lesson we publish on our YouTube and social channels is free for everyone. You can follow the full curriculum at your own pace, without spending a cent, and that will never change.
For students who want a live teacher, classmates, and weekly feedback, we offer small-group live classes. Each course runs for 6 weeks and costs $50 per lesson. The price includes all course materials and an hour of weekly instruction in small groups. Students start with the first course and can progress through the program.
