Column
What is a column in a dataset?
A vertical line of cells.
A column runs down the table and holds everyone's answer to the same question. Columns are where consistency has to be enforced. If the question was hometown, then every cell in that column is a town, not sometimes a town and sometimes a country. Once we name a column, we make a promise about what should go inside its cells.
From our own dataset
Column F, holding the Favorite Color answers.
